Eight Pronouns (နာမ္စား - ၈ လံုး)

မွတ္ခ်က္။ ။     Ko Ko, Ma Ma, Su Su, စသည္တို႔ကိုလည္း Third Person ဟုေခၚသည္။ (I,   we, you, you တို႔ကလြဲရင္ အကုန္လံုးကို Third Person ဟုေခၚသည္။)

ေအာက္ပါနာမ္စားတို႔အား တစ္လံုးစီကို (၅) အလြတ္က်က္မွတ္ပါ

Eight Kinds of Pronouns -- နာမ္စား (၈) မ်ဳိး

1.      Personal Pronoun -- ပုဂၢဳိလ္ျပနာမ္စား

I, We, You, You, He, She, It, They

Ø  I am a hermit.

Ø  You are nun.

2.      Possessive Pronoun -- ပိုင္ဆိုင္မႈျပနာမ္စား

Mine, Ours, Yours, Yours, His, Hers, Its, Theirs

Ø  This book is mine.

Ø  Is this hat yours?

3.      Reflexive Pronoun -- တုန္႔ျပန္မႈျပနာမ္စား

Myself, Ourselves, Yourself, Yourselves, Himself, Herself, Itself, Themselves

Ø  I myself study English grammar.

Ø  She cuts herself.

4.      Demonstrative Pronoun -- ညႊန္ျပ နာမ္စား

This (ဤဟာ)၊ These (ဤဟာမ်ား)

That (ထိုဟာ)၊ Those (ထိုဟာမ်ား)

Ø  This is my car.

Ø  Those are the children’s toys.

5.      Indefinite Pronoun -- မတိက်ေသာ နာမ္စား

Any = တစ္စံုတစ္ခု , none = ဘာမွမ႐ွိ၊ ဘာမွမဟုတ္, all =  အားလံုးေသာ, many = အေျမာက္အမ်ား, few = နည္းေသာ, some = အခ်ဳိ႕, a few = အနည္းငယ္ေသာ, a little = အနည္းငယ္ေသာ, much = အမ်ားအျပား, another = အျခားတစ္ခု, others = အျခားအရာမ်ား၊ အျခားပုဂၢဳိလ္မ်ား, someone = တစ္စံုတစ္ေယာက္, everyone = လူတိုင္း၊ အရာတိုင္း, anything = ဘာမဆို, something = တစ္စံုတစ္ခု, everything = အရာတိုင္း, anywhere = ဘယ္ေနရာမဆို, nothing = ဘာမွမ႐ွိ၊ ဘာမွမဟုတ္, anyone = တစ္ခုခု၊ ဘယ္သူမဆို , anybody = မည္သူမဆို, everyone = လူတိုင္း, one = တစ္ခုခု၊ ဘယ္သူမဆို, everbody = လူတိုင္း, somebody = တစ္စံုတစ္ေယာက္,

Ø  All are teenagers.

Ø  I like everything.

Ø  Do you have any books?

Yes, I have some books.

No, I don’t have any books.

6.      Distributive Pronoun -- ခြဲေဝျပနာမ္စား

Each (တစ္ေယာက္စီ)  

Either (ႏွစ္ေယာက္ထဲက တစ္ေယာက္)

Neither (ႏွစ္ခု/ေယာက္ထဲမွ ဘာမွ..မဟုတ္)

Ø  Each of the girls loves wearing royal orchid.

Ø  Either of the students will be punished.

Ø  Neither of the winners won the prize.

Note: either ႏွင့္ neither တုိ႔ကိုသံုးေသာအခါ လူႏွစ္ေယာက္/ ပစၥည္းႏွစ္ခုသာ႐ွိရသည္။ ထိုထက္ပိုက any, anyone, none တို႔ကိုသံုးသည္။

7.      Interrogative Pronoun -- အေမးနာမ္စား

Who - ဘယ္သူသည္(Subject - ကတၱားအတြက္)

·         Who understands the question?

San San understands the question.  

Whom - ဘယ္သူ႔ကို (Object - ကံပုဒ္အတြက္)

·         Whom do you see in the class? 

You see San San in the class.

            Whose  - ဘယ္သူ၏ (ပိုင္ဆိုင္မႈကိုျပ)

·         Whose is this book?

It is San San’s.

With whom - ဘယ္သူႏွင့္
