Window Shopping and Retail Therapy

 1.) I’m having a bad day. It’s just one of those days where nothing is going my way! I’m just upset.
 ဒီေန႔ က ေတာ့ ေၾကးမံုု အတြက္ ေကာင္းတဲ့ ေန့ မဟုုပ္ဘူး ။ တစ္ခုု မွ ေၾကးမံုု စိတ္တိုုင္းက် မ ျဖစ္ဘူး။ ေၾကးမံုု စိက္မေကာင္းဘူး။

စိတ္မေကာင္းဘူး။

2.) Oh…. Look at that dress. I could do some retail therapy. Shopping is called retail therapy because when you shop and buy things you like, it improves your mood. I get happier when I buy something I like.

အိုုး အဲဒီ ဂါဝန္ ကိုု ၾကည့္ လုုိက္ ပါ လာ။ သိပ္္ လွတာပဲ။ ေၾကးမံုု retail therapy လုုိတယ္။ တစ္ခုုခုု ဝယ္ လိုုက္ ရ ရင္း ၊စိတ္ရွြင္လာတယ္။ ေၾကးမံုု ပိုု ေပ်ာ္လာတယ္။

စိတ္ ခ်မ္း သာ ေအာင္ ေစ်းဝယ္မယ္။
စိတ္ သက္ သာ ေအာင္ ေစ်းဝယ္ဖိုု့ လုုပ္မယ္။

Retail therapy စိတ္ ခ်မ္းသာ ေအာင္ ေစ်းဝယ္တာ။
Shop / buy ဝယ္ တယ္။
mood = စိတ္ ေန စိတ္ ထား ။

2.) I need some retail therapy, but I can’t afford that. It’s too expensive. I’m broke! I have no money. Maybe I can just do some window- shopping.
ေၾကးမံုု retail therapy လုုိတယ္ ၊ဒါေပမယ္ ေၾကးမံုု မ ဝယ္နိုုင္းဘူး။ အရမ္း ေစ်းၾကီတယ္။ ေၾကးမံုု က broke . ေၾကးမံုု က ပိုုက္ဆံ မ ရွီဘူး။ ေၾကးမံုု window shopping ပဲ လုုပ္နိုုင္တယ္ ထင္တယ္။ ေၾကးမံုု က ဘိုုင္က်တယ္။

Window shopping = ၾကည့္ ရံုု ပဲ ၾကည့္ တ္ယ ၊ မ ဝယ္ ဘူး။

4.) Window shopping is when you’re looking at the goods and dresses in the shops, but you’re not going to buy them. I’m window shopping today. (sigh*)
Window shopping က ပစစည္း ေတြ၊ အဝတ္အစားေတြ ကိုု ဆိုုင္ ထဲ မွာ ပဲ ၾကည့္ ရံုု ပဲ ၾကည့္ တယ္၊ဒါေပမယ္ မ ဝယ္ ဘူး။ ေၾကးမံုု ဒီေန႔ window shopping လုုပ္ေနတယ္။ ဘာမွ မဝယ္ဘူး။ ၾကည့္ ပဲ ၾကည့္မွာ။

5.) Well, at least I can afford my nice lunch and enjoy the day. This isn’t too bad at all.
အနည္းဆံုုး ေတာ့ ေၾကးမံုု ေန့လယ္စာ ဝယ္ ခားနိုုင္တယ္။ ေၾကးမံုု ေန့ က သိပ္ မ ဆိုုး ဘူး ေပါ့။

6.) Oh, what is this? A sale! 90% off!?!? Unbelievable!
ေဟာ ၾကည့္ စမ္း!!!! A sale?!? ေလွ်ာ့ ေစ်း တ့ဲ။ ေစ်းေတြ က က် ေန ျပီ ။ မယံုုနိုုင္စရာပဲ။

7.) I know I said I’m broke, but when there’s a sale – and it’s 90% off, you just have to take advantage and buy the whole store! It’s a steal!
ေၾကးမံုု သိတယ္။ ေၾကးမံုု ပိုုက္ဆံ မ ရွီဘူး ေျပာလုုိက္ တယ္၊ ဒါေပမယ့္ ၉၀ ရာနွုုန္း ေတာင္မွာ က် ရင္၊ ဒါက အခြင့္ ေကာင္းပဲ။ တစ္ ဆိုုင္ လံုု ေတာင္ဝယ္ သင့္တယ္။ အလကား ရ သလိုုပဲ။

8.) Wow. Retail therapy definitely worked. 2 things that I love hearing – “ I love you” and “ 90% off!”! Wow, I had such a good day! What an amazing day!
Retail therapy က ေကာင္းလိုုက္ တာ၊ အလုုပ္ လဲ ျဖစ္တယ္။ “ ၉၀ ရာနွုုန္း” ေလွ်ာ့တယ္ ဆိုု တာ ၾကားရရင္ “ ခ်စ္တယ္” လိုု႔ အေျပာ ခံ ရ သလိုုပဲ။
